VWFF FOCUSED ON THE FILM WORK
OF QUEER & FLINTA+ ARTISTS

We aim to raise awareness about gender inequality, fight discrimination and prevent prejucice through active citizen participation.

Our “Fourth Wave” Intiative offers a safe space for the projection, visualitation and discussion of audiovisual content of philosophical, political, economic, social, environmental and culture nature.

Our team is made up of people with migratory backgrounds and feminist activist from several organizations from Berlin.
OUR HISTORY

VWFF
The first edition of the festival took place in 2019. 40 short films made by women from 20 different countries were screened at the classec Lichtblick Kino.

VWFF Online
The global outbreak of COVID19 was a challange that forced us to cancel projects, productions and personal plans. In response to this unprecedented disruption, VWFF was held online. The categories were Intersectionality, Me too, Body Positivity and Ni una menos.

In 2021 the festival was also held 100% online. In adittion, a special edition of Ni una menos was held in Oyoun.
