In the heart of Medellin- Colombia, ‘Travesti Opening’ unveils a tale of defiance and survival as La Tiana leads her gang: the travesti gang, rebels against binary norms, survivors of continuous persecution. They show us the power of friendship and self-creation. We can’t guarantee that after watching, you won’t become a travesti yourself, as it happened to the director.

CONOCIENDO A DISLEXIA SEVERA

This intimate short film explores Cuco’s personal journey, beginning with vivid childhood memories, passions, dreams, and deep-seated fears, and leading to the dazzling present of their artistic alter ego: “Dislexia Severa” a fierce drag queen and committed artivist. Through heartfelt storytelling and bold visual language, the film pays tribute to the women who have shaped Cuco’s life and inspired their queer identity and performance art.

RETABLO

Segundo Paucar, a 14 year old boy wants to become a master story-box maker just like his father to carry on with the family legacy. On his way to a community celebration in the Andes, Segundo accidentally observes his father in a situation that shatters his whole world. Trapped in a chauvinistic environment, Segundo will try to deal in silence with all that is happening to him.
